Early rays of the sun sparkle the snow peaks in the distance (look to the 2nd peak from the left). It was a crisp, windy morning at Dochula Pass when I took this photo.
The Dochula Pass is a mountain pass in Bhutan on the road from Thimphu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens (stupas) are built.
The pass offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range. The view is especially scenic on clear, winter days with snow-capped mountains forming an impressive backdrop.
