I don’t write hotel reviews since this is a blog about my travel experiences. I’ve traveled widely and stayed in the best of hotels, but my experience at this boutique hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia, has me making an exception and writing my first hotel review.
The Shintana Saya is a luxurious and modern property located in the heart of Siem Reap. To me, however, the stand-out of this property is the gracious, hospitable, and personable owner, David. David goes above and beyond to ensure that his guests are well taken care of, and he is always available to offer advice and assistance with anything guests may need during their stay. He has been known to go out of his way to make sure guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and satisfied.
The restaurant serves delicious Cambodian cuisine that is sure to please. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including traditional favorites like Fish Amok and Beef Lok Lak, as well as a selection of Western options. The restaurant is also popular for its breakfast buffet, which offers a wide range of delicious options to start the day.
In addition to the great accommodations and friendly service, the resort also offers convenient services such as tour and ticket assistance. Whether you’re visiting Siem Reap for the temples or to experience the city’s vibrant culture and nightlife, Shintana Saya Residence is an excellent choice for your stay.
