As a visitor to Siem Reap, Cambodia, I was lucky enough to have Ban as my tuk-tuk (also called a remork) driver. My meeting with him was fortuitous, especially after I had a not-so-pleasant experience with another driver. I was at an open-air restaurant on the famous Pub Street when I sighted him waving at me, with a smile on his face. He greeted me with, “Tuk tuk? Cheap price.” I was hesitant at first, but his friendly demeanor quickly disarmed my skepticism, and I decided to give him a try. From then on, I knew I was in good hands.
Ban’s warm personality and welcoming nature made me feel at ease right away. He was always willing to chat and share information about the city and its culture, making him not only a reliable transportation option but a great tour guide as well. He was upfront about the cost of the ride, which was a relief and made the whole experience more comfortable.
His tuk-tuk was well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable and safe ride. He was also punctual and always arrived on time, whether I was going to the Floating Village or just shopping around Siem Reap.
To say I was very impressed with Ban’s service would be an understatement, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Siem Reap. I can safely say that part of my fabulous journey to Cambodia was enhanced by my experiences riding with him,
