The photo captures a moment of a Cambodian woman in her small wooden boat, selling wares. We were some distance from the famous floating village in Siem Reap when the boat pilot stopped for a few minutes to let this woman approach us and sell her wares. She has a variety of goods in front of her, and even though I don’t want to buy anything at first, her sales skills eventually get me to buy some snacks from her. The photo captures this moment, showcasing the unique way of life of the people living in these floating villages and the entrepreneurial spirit of the woman on the boat.
